Noel J. Fenton

Noel Fenton was a co-founder of Trinity Ventures in 1986. During his career, he has also been co-founder of three successful venture capital backed start-ups, and CEO at two of those three. From 1983 to 1986, he led Covalent Systems Corp. from start-up to a profitable $12 million sales level in three years. He led Acurex Corp. from 1972 to 1982 during a period when sales increased nearly ten-fold to $65 million.

Noel has been Chairman of the American Electronics Association; held several leadership posts in the Young Presidents' Organization; was a member of President Reagan's Business Advisory Panel and Reagan's Task Force on Entrepreneurship; and pursues a wide variety of civic, charitable and academic activities, especially at Stanford University. Mr. Fenton is on the Board of Directors of LoopNet, Accordus, Requisite Technology, SciQuest.com (SQST), Chip Data, Fuego, and ID Analytics.

Noel is a 1959 graduate of Cornell University and a 1963 MBA graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
