Allyn C. Woodward
Mr. Woodward is President and a Member of the Management Committee of Adams, Harkness & Hill, an emerging growth investment bank. Mr. Woodward is widely recognized in the venture capital and start-up community for his professional activities in financing technology companies for more than 30 years.
Prior to joining Adams, Harkness & Hill, Mr. Woodward worked as Executive Vice President for Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Manager and co-founder of the bank's Wellesley, Massachusetts, office and more recently as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in Santa Clara, California. SVB is a $5.5 billion commercial bank headquartered inSanta Clara, whose principal lending focus is directed toward the technology, healthcare and venture capital industries.
Prior to joining SVB, Mr. Woodward was Senior Vice President, Group Manager and Co-Founder of the Technology Lending Group at Bank of New England, where he was employed from 1963 to 1990.
Mr. Woodward is currently a Director of LeCroy Corporation and a former Director of Viewlogic Systems and Cayenne Software. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of several private companies and is on the Board of Advisors of several investment management and venture capital firms.
Mr. Woodward graduated from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in 1972, and he earned a degree in finance and accounting from Babson College in 1963.
